Always try to get organic produce this way you save yourself from harmful  chemicals and sprays and you will get to enjoy  the  real flavor and the benefits of the vegetable.

1 Cup mix of black & white quinoa 
11/2 cup water
1/4 cup pine nuts slightly roasted in a pan without oil
1/2 bunch fresh cilantro chopped 
1/2 bunch fresh parsley chopped
1/2 bunch fresh basil chopped 
1/2 small red onion chopped fine
1/4 cup optional dried cranberry or fresh pomegranate seeds
2 Tbs olive oil
juice from half a lemon
Salt to taste

Bring to a boil the quinoa with the water and then let it simmer for 15 minutes.Turn the stove  and let it seat covered  for another 10 minutes.
remove it to a  bowl and add in all the rest of the ingredients  while you mix it gently with a fork.
You can serve it as a side dish or simply enjoy it as fancy salad.
